For the small village of Rudamina, the establishment of the Vilnius Poultry Farm helped it become a modern suburb of Vilnius. Six apartment buildings, dormitories, and individual houses were built here, where 1,300 poultry farm employees settled. The company allocated significant funds to improve the well-being of Rudamina’s residents. A kindergarten, outpatient clinic, post office, savings bank, bathhouse, a powerful transformer substation, gas station, and water supply facility were built, all of which were connected to serve the entire town. With funds from the Vilnius Poultry Farm, a House of Culture was built, and substantial support was provided for the development of schools, sports fields, and even a hill where children can go sledding in winter.
We begin operating according to the “from field to table” principle—controlling all stages of production, from the cultivation of grain and the raising of broiler chickens to the delivery of products to retail outlets.
This certification confirmed our commitment to complying with the highest global food safety and quality standards. Starting with the certification of poultry farming, we continue to ensure control of the entire production process—from field to table—thereby guaranteeing that all our products meet the strictest requirements.
After starting with the supply of fresh meat, we later gained the opportunity to produce and supply marinated products as well.
This innovative farming method not only guarantees the highest animal welfare standards and ensures the healthiest possible chicken for consumers, but also supports a sustainable approach to the environment by reducing the use of chemicals in agriculture.
Following the acquisition of AB Kauno Grūdai, AB Kaišiadorių Paukštynas, AB Vilniaus Paukštynas, and other related companies.
Vilniaus Paukštynas is issued a certificate that ensures our product quality exceeds EU requirements for chicken. It also proves that we accurately indicate the origin of our chicken, which is 100% Lithuania, and that we choose only responsibly selected poultry farms.
Starting with the supply of fresh meat, we later gained the opportunity to produce and supply marinated products.
For consumer convenience, the packages now include instructions for various preparation methods with specified cooking times. They also indicate the number of portions, standardized according to EU recommendations. Seasonal innovations are introduced – ‘Fiesta Radler’ and ‘Fiesta Yogurt’.
The festival ‘What’s Happening?!’ held in Kaišiadorys, Lithuania’s cultural capital, was crowned by a 434-meter-long table featuring products from Vilniaus Paukštynas, with a total weight of 1,000 kg! The massive chicken table brought together 2,500 festival participants from across Lithuania.
We are launching a sustainability initiative to pack the same amount of meat in packaging that uses 15% less plastic. The reduced weight of the container and less film allow us to organize logistics more efficiently, cutting costs by up to 33% and contributing to a lower CO₂ footprint.
