Vilnius poultry farm is the largest chicken producer in Lithuania, offering a wide selection of products. Our operations include a production chain from the field to the table, where we strictly control every step so that only the highest quality products reach your table. We raise birds responsibly and produce healthy and delicious chicken products that meet the needs of today's and tomorrow's consumers. We have a unique production chain "from field to table". We control every manufacturing process, from provision of feed to the chicken for fattening to delivery of the prepared product to the clients.
Kauno Grūdai AB, which, just like Vilnius and Kaišiadorys poultry farms, belongs to the KG Group, buys grains from Lithuanian farmers.
Kauno Grūdai selects highest quality grains and uses them to produce feed at it's own combined feed factory.
Broiler feed that is manufactured in accordance with a special recipe is provided to Vilnius and Kaišiadorys poultry farms.
We rear parent flocks of birds for fattening in our own poultry houses. The birds are reared freely in barns, the farms have veterinarians that are responsible for the birds’ care and health.
We collect eggs from the parent flocks and take them to the incubators where chicks are hatched.
We supply day-old chicks to our poultry houses. We also engage in trade of day-old chicks.
We grow 80 percent of birds required for production in our own poultry houses and buy the rest from Lithuanian farmers.
The chicken that we grow on our poultry farms is of the ROSS-308 breed. We strictly comply with European Union animal welfare requirements – the birds are reared freely in barns.
We follow the circular economy principle. Parts unsuitable for food production are used to produce animal by-products.
Our product range varies from fresh meat products to pre-made products. We are continuously improving recipes and creating new ones, taking into consideration the latest market trends.
We take care of the logistics of our production to points of sale. We supply our products to retail chains and stores in Lithuania as well as exporting them to more than 40 countries.

Our reliability as a chicken manufacturer is certified by the food safety and quality standards certificates as well as having passed audits of the international companies to whom we provide our production.

Implementation of the standard’s requirements ensure food quality and safety ‘from farm to table’ as the entire production chain is assessed. The standard is based on the following widely recognised key elements:
The standard of the UK retail trade organization BRC (British Retail Consortium) is known and recognized throughout Europe, as well as in Africa, Asia, Australia and America. According to this standard, manufacturers who produce, store and supply prepared food products to retail chains and other manufacturers are certified. We are rated at level A according to the current version 8 of this standard. The globally recognized certificate shows that the company is a reliable manufacturer and can supply its products not only to European countries, but also to other continents.
Halal means that the product does not contradict Islamic law and is permitted for use. The key requirements for Halal products are containing no traces of substances that are prohibited in Islam and implementing high product hygiene safety rules.
Vilniaus Paukštynas AB is a certified supplier of fresh and frozen chicken for the fast food restaurant chain KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken), owned by the world’s largest restaurant management company YUM! The company had to successfully undergo audits according to the current KFC standards in all of the key areas: animal welfare, food safety, product quality and production transportation.
IFS Food – a food safety standard developed by the German, French and Italian retail associations – is one of the food safety standards recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative. The IFS certificate proves that the company is capable of managing risks throughout all stages of the food production process and producing a safe and quality product.
"National quality Lithuania" confirms that the product marked with this mark is manufactured and certified in Lithuania and meets the requirements of the national food quality (NKP) system. NKP is distinguished by the quality of its products, and the production process by higher standards of environmental protection and animal welfare.
